Child safety standards

PocPin has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page describes our rules and what we do when we learn about such content.

1. What we prohibit

  • Any image, video, text or link that shows, describes or promotes the sexual abuse or exploitation of a minor.
  • Sexualising minors, including AI-generated or drawn content.
  • Grooming: contacting a minor for sexual purposes, asking for intimate images, offering money or gifts for that purpose.
  • Sextortion and human trafficking, including of minors.
  • Accounts of people under 16 — PocPin is only for people aged 16 and over.

2. How we prevent it

  • Every photo and every video (the cover and frames from the whole clip) is checked automatically before it is published; nudity and sexual content are blocked.
  • Minimum-age confirmation and acceptance of these rules when the account is created.
  • Anyone who messages you privately can be reported and blocked at any time, from their profile or the conversation.
  • Our moderation team reviews reports, with top priority for child-safety reports.

3. How to report

In the app: tap "Report" on a post, reel, comment, story or profile and choose "Child safety". The report is anonymous to the reported person.

If a child is in immediate danger, call 112.

4. What we do when we receive a report

  • We review child-safety reports first, within 24 hours at most.
  • We remove the content and permanently close the responsible account.
  • We keep evidence only as long as the law requires and make it available to the authorities.
  • We report CSAM and situations of danger to the competent Romanian authorities (Romanian Police / DIICOT) and to specialised organisations, as required by law.
  • We cooperate with the authorities in any investigation concerning child safety.
